Hygiene of the school premises

 As the states are making a decision to open the school campuses for the educational purpose of the students after the pandemic, it becomes imperative the hygiene is taken care of. Once the educational premises are open for the students, the main concern for the parents would be, first their children’s safety as to the number of people occupying the space at once which can in turn create a probability of an increased risk of getting infected with the virus. The second concern being of sanitization and hygiene.

There are many measures which can be opted to ensure the safety, sanitization and hygiene of the school or university campus premise. Social distancing that is arranging the seating order of the students in a manner that it allows and at the same time ensures that the students are following the social distancing pattern. The second being ensuring that the premise is properly sanitized and cleaned – the chairs, tables, desks, floors, etc. Also filtered water and clean food is the third step in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of hygiene in the school premises. All the precautions have to be followed if the schools are looking to open again.

The importance of maintaining hygiene is immense. If the surroundings are not clean and healthy it gives rise to many diseases. Diseases like – Dental Caries (Tooth decay), head’s lice, Pinworms, etc, which further leads to the weakening of the immune system.

These are schools which have excelled in providing exposure and education to the students in the most contemporary manner.
